It's official - Mosher Media is off and running. You may be thinking, "Ok Lauren, this is all cool and everything, but what do you ACTUALLY DO?"
Before I dive into that, I want to take you back in time to one of my favorite moments when Laura Vsetecka with LG Seeds told me some very important words of wisdom. She said: "Lauren, you can make this summer whatever you want it to be, just as long as you don't have to fly." You know what? We did just that. The concept of designing my own business to help the agriculture industry has been something I've been working on for two years, but it finally came true this week. Let's dive into some of the services I'll be providing.
Photography. I love a good cattle show or shooting some photos in the pasture while my family brings in our herd of cows. That same concept can apply to something you need to complete. Are you in need of some photos of cattle for a sale? How about moments in a show ring? Let me help.
Videography. I may not be able to fly a drone yet, but don't put it past me. While working at the ISU Beef Teaching Farm, I have fallen in love with highlighting our staff members, creating ads that reach many people (over 4,000!!!), and grabbing some footage of those cute calves running around in the pasture. If you need a video done, let's take care of it together.
Social Media Strategy. This is the core of what I do at the ISU Beef Teaching Farm. My job relies on making sure that we continue to see more likes and follows, our content is shared, and that our message stays relevant. Maybe your business is new to social media, or you're a whiz on Facebook and Instagram - whatever the case may be, I want to help make it stronger.
Journalism. As you may be figuring out by now, I LOVE BEEF. If it weren't for my brain requiring a bowl of Lucky Charms cereal to kickoff my morning each day, I would eat it for breakfast - but I vouch for dinner and supper. However, that won't stop me from keeping up on the latest happenings in the industry and sharing how we can mitigate issues. Furthermore, I'll be publishing a blog each week on something happening around our farm or in the industry. Keep your eyes and ears peeled. But in the meantime - are you in need of an article for a publication? Come see me.
Public Speaking. As a high school student, I had the opportunity to compete in Prepared Public Speaking at National FFA Convention. Although this was a really phenomenal opportunity, the road leading to nationals was what really defined the experience. I found that I loved meeting industry professionals and seeking insight as to what was happening in the industry, and so I have set out on a Mission to share agriculture story through my personal experiences while meeting with others. So, with that thought in mind, if you are needing someone to speak at a banquet or event, let’s chat. I’m here for you.
And last, but certainly not least, graphic design. It's a new pond I'm sticking my toe into, but if I know anything, I'm not going to stop until I have it figured out. Whether it's a logo for your business or a flyer for an upcoming event, send me a message and I'll do my best to help.
As Iowans, we know what it's like to drive down the road in the summertime and be stopped by construction. My website will be under construction a lot over the next several weeks as I continue to add content and make it a friendlier place. Please stick with me as these changes are happening. I can always be reached on the "Contact Me" button.
Friends, I want to be your one-stop-shop for all things communication. I may be new to this ballgame, but I want to help. We have a deep mission to share agriculture's story, and no matter what part of the industry you're in, I want to help. See that "Contact Me" tab? Click it and let's make something memorable together.
Always remember to eat BEEF.
Lauren
